Description
This Jaeger-type 13-pin plug is a best seller, perfect for powering your trailer, horse trailer, caravan, boat trailer or luggage trailer. Modern cars often have a 13-pin socket; the extra pins are used for the reversing light and rear fog light. A reversing light is now mandatory on trailers, caravans, boat trailers and horse trailers. The plug accepts a 13-core cable up to 11 mm in diameter.

Maintenance
We recommend spraying the plug with contact cleaner once or twice a year, then plugging it in and out of the socket a few times to spread the spray. Storing the plug in a plug holder keeps it dry and extends its life.
Please note: a 7-pin plug can be replaced by a 13-pin plug, but this does not increase the number of functions – the trailer still won't be able to use, for example, a reversing light. The bayonet closure ensures everything is sealed properly. A 7-pin plug is also available.
